In 2001 "Kino-Proekt Engineering" won the tender on mechanical and technological renovation of the stage of the Moscow State Variety Theatre (www.muk.ru/teatr). Now, after the carried out work, the stage equipment corresponds the international requirements to theatre halls of this profile.

The set of equipment includes the following:

• Multipurpose mechanism of the Main Curtain, opening aside and diagonally
• 7 spotlights
• Circular background panorama
• Background rolled-up curtain
• 4 shifted intermission curtains
• 8 telescopic light guns

For the first time in Russia "Kino-Proekt Engineering" made the following mechanical devices for the stage:

• Soft rolled-up fire curtain
• Laid-on dismountable 6m circle and a 9m ring, both battery powered and remote controlled. They can turn synchronously or asynchronously with variable speed in both directions and move along the stage in any direction.
