No one could even imagine that the "Batir" cinema built in Naberezhnye Chelny will gain in four years a status of Night Club of republican scale. Less than one year after the idea was born a team of "Kino-Proekt Engineering" Co. carried out the architectural and technological design with adaptation of customer's requirements to the real configuration of the existing cinema hall. The work resulted in totally new hall satisfying all norms of Laboratory Dolby Lab and Lucas Theatre Alignment Program (THX). For the first time in Russia the rear-screen acoustic deck - a THX-wall with built-in acoustic systems - was constructed and put into operation. The results of measurements carried out after finishing the installation shown that the developed and mounted sound amplification system meets all modern requirements to the cinema halls of 21st century. The high sound pressure combined with minimal non-uniformity and a wide frequency range allows to get the most pleasure of film viewing.

All works including technological design, delivery of equipment, installation, adjustment and programming of the systems were done by "Kino-Proekt Engineering".

"Batir" was opened on March, 21, 2002 with premiere show of "The Lord of the Rings".
