The "Akvilon" Entertaining Complex is based on separate building in the centre of Surgut. The existing building of the former supermarket has been chosen for this complex. Unfortunately, the available architectural decisions did not answer the modern technology requirements and full reconstruction of interior, facade of the building and adjoining territory was required. The architectural project was executed by the Slovene design workshop which is working under the Russian contracts for a long time and has successful experience in entertaining complex design. After approval of design by the customer the drawings were transferred to "Kino-Proekt Engineering" for development of the technological project and binding of all the necessary elements.

"Akvilon" includes a night club with dancing floor for 300-350 persons, a big bar, VIP boxes for 150 persons, a bar service area for 250-300 persons and a stage adapted to entertainers' performances.

According to the acoustic project developed by "Kino-Proekt Engineering" it was proposed to reconstruct the walls of night club and finish them with Ecophone acoustic panels. For true sound the acoustic systems and amplifiers manufactured by Italian company Outline were selected.

The audio system in "Akvilon" features unified universal switching field based on Neutrik Bantham patch panels. All inputs-outputs are connected to the patch-panels that provide the flexible transformation of the whole sound amplification system, depending on programme.

GL2200 Allen&Heath mixers for live performances and Outline Pro408 for DJs are also connected to the patch-panels. Besides the standard set of CD players (Denon DN-M2600F and Pioneer CDJ-1000) for DJs the Denon DN-M2300R minidisk double-deck, and also two Vestax PDX-2000 vinyl disk players are provided. For voice processing the TC-Electronics M-One processor is used, and as a radio system Samson Series One was selected.

The light equipment of "Akvilon" night club is based on Coemar equipment, Italy.

For the greater comfort of viewing of performances in night club the Panasonic PTL6500E LCD projector with Draper Luma screen 274 x 363 cm is used, and in front of the stage the video camera with zoom lens on rotary turret placed in protective casing is installed. The control room of the video complex includes the following equipment: Panasonic controller, Kramer Electronics A/V-matrix, and also Composite/S-Video/Component/RGBHV converters.

The "Akvilon" Entertaining Complex was opened on December, 26, 2002.
